Protection Manager

Required for most food prep positions
Training provides overview of food safety issues,
regulations, and techniques to maintain a foodsafe
environment. This is a required prerequisite for
Intro to Professional Culinary Arts 1. If you already
possess a current food handlers certificate, please
contact the Escondido Adult School for partial waiver.
Course is approximately 24 hours and fees are $150
(includes ServSafe handbook, cost of test and the certificate).

Professional Culinary Arts 1 offers you approximately 200
hours of classroom and hands on training in a top notch
facility. Here you will learn about basic ingredients, kitchen
skills, cooking and knife techniques and more. Under the
guidance of an experienced chef, you’ll develop the skills
necessary to enter the food industry.
Program is a sequence of courses designed to prepare
students to work in the culinary arts industry. Additional
Advanced Culinary Arts courses coming soon!
Course is approximately 200 hours and fees are $1295
(includes 2 uniforms)

diverse experience to the classroom. She
takes joy seeing former students working
in and owning 5-Star restaurants, as well
as sharing her love of cooking.
