• Making Right Choices

Welcome to Making Right Choices, an online course which trains staff on the importance of appropriate student/staff interactions and relationships.  It deals with the sensitive subject of staff misconduct, including criminal sexual misconduct with students.  Student safety is the primary responsibility of all employees and we recognize how seriously everyone takes this issue.  The goal of the program is to provide staff with information and guidelines so that student/staff relationships are positive and professional.

The successful completion of this course is mandatory for ALL employees and volunteers.

The online course is designed so that it can be accessed, worked on, bookmarked and exited, allowing you to return to the point you left off when you resume. The online course can take up to two hours to finish so completing it in segments is an option. The online course is available and may be accessed from any computer while you are enrolled.

To begin, please select Making Right Choices and log in with your credentials (username and password) . You will be prompted to change your password when you log in to the course for the first time.  Please print the certificate of completion when you have finished the training, and bring it to Human Resources a part of the clearance process. We have developed a course survey (available as a link on the launch page) which you can, at your option complete. The purpose of the survey is to help us review the effectiveness of the course.
