School Accountability Report Cards (SARC)
Each spring, California students in grades 3 – 8 and 11 take the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) exams. All students are assessed using computer-based tests in English/Language Arts and Mathematics. Grade 11 students with an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) that identifies the need will take the California Alternative Assessment (CAA) exam.
Students in grades five, eight, and ten are also tested in Science. Science assessments are paper-based tests and include California Standards Test (CST), the California Modified Assessment (CMA) or the California Alternative Performance Assessment (CAPA) versions. The results of the CAASPP tests are published annually in the School Accountability Report Card.
NOTICE: Hard copies of the SARC in English or Spanish are available in the district office and all school offices upon request.
