Due to concerns expressed by many around San Diego regarding Hepatitis A, we have attached a helpful link that explains Hepatitis A. You may also take a risk assessment to find out if you need to receive the vaccination.

• Almost all children that were born after 1995 were vaccinated.
• The Hep A vaccine is now routinely given.
• It is divided into two doses. The first is given around 12 months old and the second is given at 18 months old.
