Step Out encourages girls to explore non-traditional careers

Girls in grades 8 and 9, along with their parents or guardians, are invited to meet with women who are unique in their fields to learn about careers, training, jobs, and high school classes that will help them reach their goals. Hosted by Escondido High School, this free event will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2017 from 4:00 to 6:30 pm in the Escondido High School gymnasium located at 1535 North Broadway in Escondido, California.

Plenty of Industry Experts will be on hand

As in the past, this year's Step Out event will be attended by experts in traditional fields such as mechanics, masonry, and criminal justice, as well as from more modern fields including media arts, gaming and simulation technologies.
