Transportation

The Escondido Union High School District is dedicated to providing safe, reliable and caring transportation services for students. The Transportation Department team currently operates ten routes for students with special needs. In addition, one general education home to school route for San Pasqual High School is provided for the Bandy Canyon / Highland Valley Road area students, due to lack of municipal bus service. We are proud to assist in the support of educational opportunities for students by providing over 1000 activity trips each year. Our drivers are well trained, caring and courteous individuals who view the school bus as an extension of the classroom. It is a high priority to ensure the safety of all students and we adhere to a strict maintenance program. Thanks to the efforts of a dedicated and skilled team, our buses have consistently received high ratings from annual inspections by the California Highway Patrol Motor Carrier Division.
