EUHSD Regiment Band Performs in tribute to U.S. Navy Captain E. Royce Williams

Yesterday, the City of Escondido honored U.S. Navy Captain E. Royce Williams, a Korean War veteran and Medal of Honor recipient, with a proclamation recognizing his extraordinary service during a regularly scheduled meeting.
Prior to the meeting, the EUHSD 78th Regiment Band performed in tribute to Captain Williams. The band is composed of talented students from Del Lago Academy, Escondido High School, Orange Glen High School, and San Pasqual High School.

Special recognition was also given to Mr. Guzevich (EHS) and Mr. Mandel (OGHS) in appreciation of the 78th Regiment’s inspiring contributions to the event.

Ayer, la Ciudad de Escondido rindió homenaje al Capitán de la Marina de los EE.UU. E. Royce Williams —veterano de la Guerra de Corea y receptor de la Medalla de Honor— mediante una proclamación que reconocía su extraordinario servicio, durante una sesión ordinaria programada.
Antes de la sesión, la Banda del 78.º Regimiento del EUHSD ofreció una actuación en tributo al Capitán Williams. La banda está compuesta por talentosos estudiantes de Del Lago Academy, Escondido High School, Orange Glen High School y San Pasqual High School.

Asimismo, se otorgó un reconocimiento especial al Sr. Guzevich (EHS) y al Sr. Mandel (OGHS) en agradecimiento por las inspiradoras contribuciones del 78.º Regimiento a dicho evento.
