Last week, our Cal-SAFE Escondido program for teen parents recognized 10 amazing graduates from the Class of 2025 with a special beach-themed celebration. The event was possible due to the generous support from The Church at Rancho Bernardo and Easter Seals. Graduates and their families enjoyed delicious food, fun activities for the children, and a supportive community cheering them on. Each student received a new backpack stocked with supplies to assist them with college. Thank you to The Church at RB and Easter Seals for making this event so memorable as we celebrate their hard work!

Congratulations to the 284 students from San Pasqual High School and Escondido High School who earned their Career Connections certificates! These certificates from the Western States Regional Council of Carpenters mark a major step toward a future in the skilled trades. From tool safety to advanced jobsite experience, students are building a path to professional carpentry careers.

2025 EUHSD Retiree Celebration
Congratulations to our 2024-2025 retirees! They have a combined 335 years in service to EUHSD families and students. By a conservative estimate, they guided, empowered, and inspired more than 65,000 students in Escondido. We are grateful for their dedication and wish them the best in this new chapter

EUHSD students and staff were recognized at last night’s 22nd Annual Innovation in Education Awards. Congratulations to Angelina Tran from Escondido High School and Fatima Jimenez Santos from San Pasqual High School for earning AVID High Tech Academic Scholarships, and to Escondido High School’s STEAM-to-Careers program for receiving the Innovate Award!

San Pasqual High School was alive with music as Nashville-based, award-winning country singer/songwriter Steven Cade delivered a memorable mini-concert for students, staff, and special guests. Cade, through his non-profit Giving Guitars Foundation, donated five brand new guitars to the school’s music program, aiming to inspire young musicians and expand access to the arts.

Escondido Union High School District (EUHSD) is pleased to announce the appointment of Charan Kirpalani as the new Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources. The EUHSD Governing Board approved the appointment during its regularly scheduled board meeting on Tuesday, May 13, 2025.

This week, we recognized our outgoing Student Board Members for their leadership, dedication, and student voice throughout the year. Thank you Alondra and Cadence for representing your peers and making a difference!
