Summer School

In-person summer school will be held at Orange Glen High School this year June 7 through July 3 for students from Escondido, Orange Glen, and San Pasqual high schools.

 

Summer school classes will be available for students who need to recover credits or retake classes that require a C or higher to stay on the A-G track. A-G classes are required to be eligible for admission to the California State University and University of California systems.

 

Classes will take place Monday through Friday and two sessions will be available:

• Morning Session: 8:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
• Afternoon Session: 12:45 to 4:30 p.m.
 

There will be no school on June 19.

 

Students can request to take a summer school class by completing their school’s interest form:

Escondido High School

Orange Glen High School

San Pasqual High School

 

Submission will be reviewed by school counselors.

 

Credit Recovery will also be offered virtually through Campus Online. Summer School students will be expected to dedicate 25-30 hours a week to finish one course.

 

Extended school year classes are available for students with an Individualized Education Program (IEP).

 

Summer school opportunities are also available for students who attend Del Lago Academy. Interested families should contact their school counselor for more information.
