“At the May 10 Escondido Union High School District Board of Education meeting, the governing board named Michael Santos incoming principal for Orange Glen High School. He will begin his new role July 1, 2022.”

“The Escondido Union High School District (EUHSD) is offering summer school for students June 13 through July 8 this year at Orange Glen High School. Summer school is available for students who attend Escondido, Orange Glen, and San Pasqual high schools and offers students the opportunity to recover credits. Classes will take place Monday through Friday and two in-person sessions will be available, 8:00 to 11:45 a.m. and 12:15 to 4:00 p.m. There will be no school June 20 and July 4.”

“The Escondido Union High School District EUHSD Spotlight highlights one teacher and the work their students are creating each month. San Pasqual High’s Yun Lutgen shares her background, thoughts on teaching math, and sheds light on the history of the SuperNURDs FIRST Robotics team. “

“Culinary students from Escondido, Orange Glen, and San Pasqual high schools took part in a district cooking competition last week at Orange Glen High. Each school had an entrée and a dessert team. Teams were responsible for selecting their recipe and ingredients. “

The Escondido Adult School celebrated Adult Education Week March 27
through April 4. The week included a visit by Escondido Mayor Paul McNamara, who presented the school with a proclamation for the week.
